Vishali Varga, LCSW, C-IAYT, E-RYT 500
Vishali was trained as an art historian and after doing graduate research at museums in New York she began studying yoga philosophy, meditation and asana. Her first trip to India was in 1990 and for eight years she lived in ashrams in the US and India. She studied with gifted scholars, swamis, and asana masters of many traditions.
Since 1998 she has devoted her life to teaching yoga, opened 3 studios in New York and New Jersey, and lead many courses, trainings, retreats and workshop in addition to teaching regular classes. Having spent years studying texts, ritual in context, her expertise is in building the bridge from the authentic teachings and practices of India to the 21st century Westerner. Vishali currently has a full time private psychotherapy practice.

W.S. Jagannath Babu
Babu is one of the most sought after guides in India. He grew up in Chennai and speaks seven different languages, including fluent English, Tamil, Telegu, Malyalam and Hindi. Babu is a trusted friend and brother who contributes immensely to the joy we experience on each and every trip.
He has a Masters of Tourism and is an accredited Tour Guide by the Government of India. He has been working in the tourism field since the early 1990's. The consummate professional, Babu thinks of everything ahead of time to ensure all the little things are taken care of so you can relax and completely immerse yourself in the experience of the Indian culture. He lives in Chennai with his wife and teenage daughter.

S. Bharati
Bharati is native to the famous Tamil temple town of Chidambaram. Vishali met her in 2009 while she was working at the front desk of the hotel there. She graduated from Anna Malai University with a degree in Computer Science.
After working a couple years for an international IT company in Chennai, she decided to join Babu in his touring company. She is currently going to school to get her Masters of Tourism. Bharati joins us on all our tours and is an indespensible cultural liasion sharing the ins and outs of Indian culture from a woman's perspective. She can also wrap a sari in two minutes flat, and can teach you too. Bharathi will elucidate for you the customs, rituals, dress, ornamentation and arts of the goddess tradition that have been going strong for millenia in India.
